I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as an approved supervisor with the Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. I received my training from the Family Institute at Northwestern University, where I graduated with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2006.
After completing my degree I worked in community mental health, followed by several years at the group practices of Live Oak and The Family Institute, where I worked with individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds. I opened my current practice in 2015.
Prior to becoming a therapist I was a classical modern dancer. This continues to be an area of interest for me and is incorporated into my work, when appropriate, as body centered mindfulness and meditation.
Outside of my work as a therapist I am a wife and mom to 2 children, one with special needs.
